Cheers to the new Southam GP surgery artwork

NEW artwork from a medical practice in Southam has been approved by patients.

St Wulfstan’s Surgery has proudly displayed a series of sketches by local artist Scot Harris in its waiting room, which GPs working at the practice say ‘summarize their spirit’.

Based on the theme of robots, the designs tell the story of a parent and child going on a journey – visiting surgery, seeing a GP, continuing to receive NHS care.

Faris Al-Ramadani, Surgery Partner, said: “Scot has created a collection that encapsulates the spirit of our surgery – care, quality and compassion. It perfectly captures our vision that healthcare, when done well facts, is to have a great relationship between our staff and patients. The response to the artwork so far from patients has been tremendous.

To that end, St Wulfstan’s Surgery recently found that in the 2021 National GP Patient Survey it had the highest level of patient satisfaction in all of Coventry and Warwickshire and also ranked 87th in England.

Faris added: “During the COVID pandemic, we never closed our doors, ensuring patients could continue to receive face-to-face care if needed, and we felt it was important to do so to reassure our patients in what was a very difficult time for everything.

We truly believe in maintaining a strong relationship with patients based on respect and the highest levels of care we can provide.
