The Devon family presents artwork for Shelterbox

Artwork created by a Devon family in their home is on display in an exhibition for Shelterbox. The Round the Bend, Art Outside exhibition opens April 22-24 from 11am-5pm at Bickleigh Crest, Bickleigh, Tiverton, EX16 8RR. Free entry.

The work includes collaborative and solo work by Millie Laing-Tate, Katherine Laing and John Pitts.

John explained: “We have supported ShelterBox for many years and while the crisis in Ukraine is particularly relevant at this time, their ongoing disaster relief work in places like Syria, Ethiopia and Yemen is also vital.

“There is no admission fee for the exhibit and any donation to ShelterBox is entirely optional.”

Ms. Laing hopes to make a small difference in their fundraising. She said: “It all started in May 2018, with the making of Watchtower. And since then Bickleigh Crest has become a site of exploration, invention, engineering and FUN. To celebrate the arrival of spring and marking the last four years of combined creativity, we decided to open things up and would like to share it all with you.
