Along with the special episode release information, new character design art has also been shared, showing Ryusui in a costume similar to that of a pirate captain. Discover the new Dr. Stone Special Episode – Ryusui artwork below:

The special episode is dedicated to the character Ryusui Nanami, one of the major characters of the Dr Stone series and one of the five wise commanders of the realm of science, a state that is inside the series. The special will also act as a bit of a restraint for fans as they await the return of the anime’s highly anticipated third season in 2023.

2022 has already been a big year for Dr Stone, as the manga series recently ended in early March. After its launch in March 2017, Dr Stone quickly became one of the most popular manga in circulation and sold over 10 million copies worldwide, while winning the prestigious Shogakukan Manga Award in 2019.
