PopCom, an automated retail technology company specializing in vending machines and kiosk solutions, will leverage its PopCom kiosk to introduce non-fungible tokens, known as NFTs, to deliver artwork “in real life” while delivering digital art on the blockchain, according to a press release.

The NFT Sale will take place during NFT.NYC, a global gathering of Web3 leaders.

PopCom has teamed up with New York native Christopher “Knxtti” Green to design an original collection of NFTs to celebrate famous New Yorkers.

The collection, titled “The NYers,” includes cartoon portraits of Biggie, Whoopi Goldberg, Mike Tyson, Jay-Z and Donald Trump.

For $500, the collector receives one of 10 limited-edition NFTs, a high-quality physical print of the “NYers” collection dispensed by the machine with a QR code to mint a digital NFT. Other exclusive benefits will be unlocked after purchase.
